Tower is an exception within the museums defendants because, unlike the
rest, has no connection whatsoever with the past of the region of
Vizcaya. On the contrary, is related to a world
far removed from the field and the silence: the engine. And in its most luxurious. What this
historic building houses within its walls is an impressive and extensive
collection of Rolls-Royce, whose value is hard to imagine.
The rectangular and top battlements, the fortress of the fourteenth century custody over sixty cars of all ages, of forty-two correspond to the legendary British brand. Divided into six pavilions, the show runs through the last hundred years of history of the luxury car. A varied selection of models competing in the first three rooms to attract the attention of visitors. The first contains various Fiat, Renault and Cadillacs of the early twentieth century, the second struck by the contrast of a fire truck surrounded by English in 1936 sporting a dozen Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Lancia and Aston Martin, in the third, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini Testarrossa introduce the visitor to the world of exclusive cars.
The remaining three rooms housing the collection of Rolls Royce: Sixteen models of the 50s, 60, 70 and 80, another sixteen manufactured in the 20s and 30s, along with a 'Phantom IV', 1955, which belonged to the Emir Kuwait and that there are only 17 units worldwide, "and, finally, nine 'Silver Ghost' to haunt the century. In short, a tribute to the 'glamorous' in which the accused landscape contributes its bit: not in vain, the high mountains and dense forests that shelter the Tower of Loizaga up one of the most beautiful pictures of the region.
